I am coming from SE PA .....anyone know of any good routes from between Easton and say New Hope to get their that will avoid major slab roads? Directness is not necessary obviously ! What time do the festivities start? Thanks |

A few of our local Buell riders are planning on making the run down to Liberty on Saturday. They wanted me ask if it was possible for them to meet up with some of you along the way. They will be leaving from Danbury CT. Just name a time and place (possibly a rest stop on the Palisades Parkway?) and I will pass the info on to them. Thanks! Jeff |

Thats a bit out of the way, From Danbury you guys should hit 301 into Ny, go over Bear Mtn bridge and pick up palisades. Would be easier as we could then pick up Garden state pkwy from there. Either way we will end up hookin up just looking for the best route for all of us. |

it takes us and hour to get to bear mtn. we normally would take 84 to 684 to sawmill to tappan zee. that only takes us about 50 min to get to there. then last year we went down the palisades and stopped at the rest stop. we took bear mtn to 301 on the way home. we just like to stop at the rest stop to grab a coffee and have a pee break. |

The prediction was for the showers to start tomorrow. . . it looks like we've had a little bit since I got home at 2:30AM. They're now calling for 40% chance of showers. It appears they'll be light and scattered so I'm going with the "60% chance of no rain" version.

Party's on, rain or shine. We have tents set up for the band and the displays and what-not, and right now it's cloudy, but not actually raining, although it rained earlier in the morning. I think it will still be a good time. |

Update - our local BadWeatherBikers are on their way. We had a little rain this am but it was not enough to stop our Buell riders from making the trip. Since it is now 12:00 and I am still here at work, it is not looking too good for me. Oh well… Maybe next year. Chellem – I was planning on saying this in person but this will have to do… Thanks to everyone at Liberty HD/Buell and congratulations on your new bundle of joy! Jeff |

Thank you! I got to see so many faces finally! I'm sorry you couldn't make it though - Somehow, everyone knew who I was! Huh! The really really pregnant one! Hopefully, with the event winding down, the new bundle will make an appearance. Weather actually turned out not too bad - we were able to do a bunch of demo groups, Erik played, and the Queensryche folks just took off for A/C. What a cool bunch of guys! Actually, demos are still going now, as long as the weather holds. Actually saw some blue for a few minutes in the sky. All in all, I thought it turned out pretty nice. Hope everyone had a good time too! Hope Court has some pics! |
