YES!!! Totally worth it. I did mine right after my MSF course. My left hand and wrist hurt so bad after. The Muller power clutch was simple to install and made a huge difference.

Isn't the new Buell clutch ball-ramp (06+) very similar to the profile of the Muller and a lot less expensive?

Cheaper and easier to strengthen your grip.

Use something like these:

I believe the 06+ clutch will retro fit to previous XB's I find the 06 clutch is very good, almost as good as a good hydraulic clutch.
If I remember right someone else asked this question a while back and Daves chimed in with a price for the kit.

The same part number, for the RAMP, is listed in my 2003 parts manual as in my 2006 parts manual.

I traded my '03 in for an '06 earlier this summer. This difference in the clutch, both pull and feel is night and day. The clutch is tens times lighter and I have not hit one false nuetral yet, and I used to get those shifting from 1st to 2nd on the '03 all the time. If you can make the switch, I recommend it.

I installed the Muller on an 05 CityX. It made a big difference.
The 06 not only has a new clutch, but it has a new transmission which engages the gears in a completely new way.

I too never hit a false neutral on my 06 12R.
I love how I can once again shift into neutral and NOT need to visually check to see if I made it.

YUP...I got one too.....It's pissa'.

Works very good with my shorty levers. I would not recomend the cheaper "E-Z clutch" mechanism on a XB.

It works but puts lots of tension on the cable in order to get it to release correctly.

Yup. When I brought my bike home, leaving the shop I got into a jam on US 1. Less than a mile of stop'n'go and my hand felt like it was gonna fall off. The Muller didn't feel like a huge improvement comparing before and after I put it in, but then I went on a SS1000 and 60 minutes of stop'n'go was a breeze. Went on a BB1500 and it was just as easy for 90 minutes of stop'n'go.
