Check this wild ride out - I saw this thing on the recent Cycle Canada Mag. For all you guys that like a more "mechanical" looking beastie... but at 70g's (with change), it might be a little steep... just a little... http://www.vyrus.it/it/motorcycle/985.asp http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/firstrides/122_2006_bimota_vyrus_985/ |

Personally I prefer the 2G Air Cooled version. Much cleaner design without all the radiators and stuff sticking out all over the place. I spoke to Ascanio at the beginning of this year regarding them running a bike in the uK Thunderbike series. The problem was that even with a stock engine they just couldn't make the power/weight limits in Thunderbike!

I thought I remembered seeing that somewhere. Looks real nice. How does it sound and perform? Sam |

Performance is excellent on both pipes, but they are for very different purposes. The top pipe is a race only system and includes header pipes (49mm or 45mm). These work well on tuned motors. The sidestand has to be removed to fit this system, although it can be modified. The lower picture is of the street 'Reverso' muffler which fits on the stock headers. This is better for street use and keeps the sidestand etc. Sound on both systems is quieter than a lot of aftermarket pipes because of the longer primary pipes, but still meaty |
