I finally managed to take some pictures of my '07 12R. In the beginning I wanted the black 12R, but as soon as I saw this one it didn't take me more than a few minutes to decide this was the right one. I like black gear, so I figured that this was the best color to be more visible. In about 2 weeks I have almost 1K miles, so this weekend I'm going to take her to Liberty H/B (Rahway). It definitely needs this service as the idling is off, and sometimes she sputters/coughs and/or stalls when I change into 1st gear. Guess this is the character of the "beast"! It's like having a new girlfriend - I have to be gentle and baby her... . Nonetheless, I am so damn glad I bought her!!!!!! I'm in love!! LOL Okay, here are some pictures.

Congrats...beautiful bike. The black and cherry bomb was the color that called my name. I can't lose this damn grin on my face. In fact my friends call me Joker now. Ride often and ride safe. -Black |

Mmmm... firebolts taste so good. The new yellow/black scheme is killer on it this year. My black/cherry ships from Buell next week. I can't wait to be in the saddle again either. |

Nice but your back pipe isn't even blue yet, quit reading and get riding |

Very nice. There's a yellow Firebolt in my local shop and it I noticed that the plastics on the engine are much better quality than those on my 04 model. The finish on the pipes looks great as well, but I'm not too keen on the enlarged rear hugger. |

Yellow is always a hot color Lots of apparel will match that. Now upgrade the air filter ECM and Exhaust. I can't believe the difference between my 12R pre-Race Kit and Post Race-Kit Enjoy and keep the rubber side down |

Thanks guys for all the comments - as you can see, I'm like a little boy in a candy store! The pipes aren't blue yet because I have been following exactly the instructions for the break in, but that will change quickly... Elff, I would love to, but I have to consider that I will also loose the 2 year warranty. It sucks, but I guess I can't do anything about it. I would love to buy a Drummer though... 12R, I didn't notice the "enlarged rear hugger" - is it different from yours? In the meanwhile I purchased the DHM sliders - I'm happy with them. I'm trying to create a website where I can post some videos of my rides. Probably in a few weeks it will be ready. I'll post something. Paul |

I agree...that Yellow and Black look is sweet. I think Buell has been listening to us about the color schemes. The 07's are right on! |

12R, I didn't notice the "enlarged rear hugger" - is it different from yours? Paul, the 'hugger' on my 04 fits between the tyre and the swingarm; I noticed that the 06 version is mounted on top of the swingarm and has better clearance but is somewhat larger. Either way the Firebolt is a great bike - enjoy ! |

Yes, I believe the new hugger mounts differently. Makes it easier to remove (if you want to install aftermarket piece), and you don't have dirt buildup in the "crease" that exists on the "old setup hugger". |

Yeah, that rock build up is a pain. It seems like every time I clean it out, there are rocks in there again. They are tough to get out too. Anyone ever try putting a bead of silicone sealer in there? |

Tried it, it works great. I used black but be careful not to get it all over the place it is a pain to clean up. |

GREAT Tip on the silycone. I'll do it tonight! GREAT looking bike too by the way! I love that yellow and black as well as the red and black. Nice touch Mr Buell even if more power didn't come to play yet! |
