The stock seat on my 04 12S is not that comfortable. Can I do better? Corbin? Select? Stock seat off the 05 or 06 S model? Other? The most I ever ride is 3-4 hours at one time. Any thoughts? |

Buell Streetfighter. Rode the Blue Ridge Parkway this weekend, two 7-hour days, no problems. Bill |

The streetfighter is very comfortable. I ride many long trips on it, and my butt is never sore. |

i love the look of the stock S seat but i can only last about 1.5hr on it before I'm sore. unless its all twisties, then i'm fine. picked up a select a few months ago, i've done a few ~7hr rides with only gas stops and a .5hr lunch break without a sore ass. HUGE improvement. i like that the Select is a little taller too 'cause i'm running R pegs to get my feet/legs tucked up more. that tiny bit of height made the fit to the pegs perfect for me. |

I have the select seat also... the first one i had the leather lifted and the 2nd one has a couple areas that are bubbled... so be careful. the seat is super comfy but the glue or whatever they used on it sucks. |
