Recently noticed that there is some up and down play on my instrument panel. Don't know if it has always been like that. Suspect there is a rubber mounting system in use to dampen vibration, but I would like to know for sure in case it is coming loose. Anyone know? |

the lightnings instrument panel is rubber mounted. it will wiggle around a little bit. i would't worry about it. |

I am not sure about the Firebolts mounting system, but w/the S models system, the only way it could move up and down is if something were broken. It could move in and out, but not up and down. I'd get in there and take a peek. |

Mine did that. So one time when I had my fairing off for whatever reason I loosened it up n stuck a big gob of double sided tape behind it. Don't move no mo. |

my dash on my firebolt shakes a little when it is just sitting there at an idle. I would rather let it wiggle and not hurt itself than give it a chance to shake something loose in it. And there is only 3 LITTLE screws holding it on, and you cant really tighten them down to make it more snug. |
