Just search the archives, Ive been using Optos design for quite some time, no issues once I soldered the wires directly to the emulator, instead of using a connector!! Bruce |

Trojan has an Exhaust Emulator. For some reason, I cannot paste the link here. When I do paste it here, I am not able to post this reply.... Products > Engine & Tuning Parts > XB12 Exhaust Valve Emulator Just go to their site and click through the above categories. Have Fun! |

i think I might just remove everything... deal with the check engine light and clear it when I can install tyhe American Sport Bike emulator... any problems with removing it and no emulator besides the light? |

I did the lazy thing and put my servo motor upside down on top of my battery. Fits just fine on my Firebolt! Eventually I will buy an emulator, or take the time to build my own(it's just a transistor and a couple of resistors). Sam |

We have the emulators in stock. However (and not do myself out of business of course!) unless you are modifying the airbox as well, you can just leave the servo motor in place and remove the operating cable between the servo and the exhaust. That way you won't get an engine warning light as the ECU still 'thinks' that the valve is there. |

i have had mine out for 2 years now. i just deal with the engine light on...not a big deal to me. i will get one or build one soon just so i will know if the light comes on for a "bad" issue. |

I installed my race kit about two hundred miles ago on my 05 XB12R and removed the cable and servo without having a check engine light ever come on. I wonder why |

You only need the emulator when using the Stock ECM. When you installed your Race ECM it removed that function. |
