Im trying to sort through some older threads in regards to this header pipe combination. I saw that it is slightly quieter than the Buell Race Kit and makes power down low. Unfortunately I can't read the Dyno Chart on their website and the whole thing is pretty expensive. It is however, darn sexy. Does anyone have any up to date information as this was not one of the pipes included in the shootout Thanks |

I am not sure you have the right info as far as noise level on the Force pipe. I have heard on running at Deals Gap last year. The only bike I have ever heard that was louder was a top fuel drag bike. It will split your ear drums. This may be a different model than the one I saw, but this has been mentioned by others here as well. |

I am going from what I thought I read in Sport Rider magazine. They removed the Buell Race pipe and installed the TIForce kit and thought it was quieter. That article was kind of funny in that they acted like they did years of work but really did a bunch of mods that are accepted as old knowledge on this forum. |

The first buell that I had a chance to ride was a heavily modified XB9R with just such an exhaust system.
It sounded wonderful, it did not sound anything like any of the other aftermarket systems, as in it did not have that "harley" sound to it... nor was it really loud. At lower rpms I must agree that it is quieter then the buell race pipe... I only had a chance to take it around the block a couple of times thus I did not get to rev it up too high, but I can say the power delivery was very smooth and strong in that lower range. On par with a stock 12 if not better. |

chris_in_tn, you are thinking of the FORCE exhaust, not the TI-FORCE exhaust. Two different animals altogether. I have the Buell Factory Race Kit. My neighbor 3 doors down has the Race ECM and Ti-Force Exhaust. Compared to my race kit, the sound level is about the same. However the sound QUALITY is much BETTER on the Ti-Force. It is throaty and has a clear thump to it. The Buell race can sounds "whiffy" in comparison. Power output seems to be pretty comparable. I've ridden both bikes one right after the other, and if money were no object, I would dump my race can for the Ti-Force in a heart beat. The sound and the looks can't be beat in my opinion. |

Sport Rider lost a lot of credibility in my book with the statements about the relative noise levels of the Buell Race pipe and the Ti-Force exhaust. It just isn't true in any way shape or form. I think they liked the aesthetics better, and there is nothing wrong with that, But if that's the case you say so. You don't lie about your reasons for making the swap. (possibly advertising $ tie in?) That might explain them portraying the ti-force as quieter and better sounding. It does have a good sound, but it also rattles windows a block (or more) away. |

Pwnzor, you must be right. The Force exhaust I saw used a megaphone style muffler as apposed to the "can" style pictured above. I stand corrected. I have no direct knowledge of the TI-Force. It may well be as described. However, the Buell race can is not overly loud in my opinion. They are becoming harder to get now that they have been discontinued. |

The "Force" and "Ti-Force" are two entirely different pipes made by different companies. The Force is LOUD LOUD LOUD. I haven't heard a Ti-Force. |

CHRIS_IN_TN, WHAT BIKE WERE YOU RIDING WHEN YOU SAW THAT BIKE AT DEALS GAP? I STOPPED AND TALKED TO SOMEONE ON A BLAST, AND I WAS ON MY 9R WITH THE FORCE PIPE. I LOVE THE WAY THE PIPE SOUNDED, BUT I TOOK IT OFF BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE THE MONEY TO GET IT TUNED. |

I wouldnt call the race can loud, however!!! i have the race can on my 12R and on a Veteran ride recently (almost all Harleys and clones there of) one female rider commented that she like the sound of my bike and she could hear it all the way in the front, i was riding in the back.... i would still like to upgrade at some point just dont know which way to go yet. I was riding a Moto Guzzi at the time. I only asked the guy what pipe it was. I was down at the store at the time. |

I have the Ti-force on my 9S (before I had the buell race). I do prefer the sound of the Ti-force deeper and less noisy than the Buell race ( It's better here in france with policemen !!). Better finishing touches, better building materials too on the ti-force - I like it - That's my opinion |
