Any one notice mistakes & errors in there genuine Buell factory parts and service manuals.Or am I just not reading as well as I use to.Seems like some of the references are not on the right pages or diagram number to me. |

I thought I had lost my mind too, but the index indicates page numbers while within the context of the sections they reference the article numbers. A little confusing until you figger it out. |

I've found a few minor errors in mine, emailed someone about it... no big deal they were easy to figure out, I can't remember what they were exactly now. Most books have a few. (Message edited by pwnzor on August 04, 2006) |

You are likely right. Before I bough tmy first Sportster (1987-1/2 Hugger 883) I bought and read the manual first. I found 32 errors. There is a form in the back to detail your findings and get them submitted to Technical Publications. If you need help, let me know. Preparing the manuals is a really greuling process due to the time frames involved. It used to take a LONG time after the bikes came out, but is much better now. Given the speed with which we can now communicate, it's easy to share known glitches. Thanks for the info, Court |
