was wondering if i were to remove the rearset do i still need to put back the bolts or do they serve no purpose except to hold the rearset? |

took mine off a week after i bought my city x . the only thing you need to worry about is the two nuts on the back side . if you take the seat off you will see them . otherwise they will fall and slide into inconvienient spaces in front of your battery. dont ask how i know jusy catch them before they migrate. |

Oh crap... didn't even notice there were nuts! I just assumed the frame was threaded. I wonder if I've lost 'em??? ~SM |

If it's like the S model, one of the bolts on each side hold the plastic battery housing in place. |
