You need City X bars.

The City-X bars aren't the same bend as XB9S bars?

Are City-X bars black from the factory?

Thanks,
Bill

I put city-x bars on my 03, but the bend of the bars is identical to stock s bars...I put them on because they are black and I like the cross bar....They won't move your riding position like you looking to do.

I just recently put Blast bars on my Ss and I am really happy with the change. The Blast bars are 2" taller, 1" narrower, and have 1" more pullback. All wires fit fine, the brake hose had to be re-routed but I didn't have to disconnect it to do the re-route.

The bars were about 40 bucks and the job took about an hour. The riding position is straight up and very comfortable, more of a sport touring position.

check with Cycle Gear, they've got all sorts of bars for both street bikes and dirt bikes.
My GF bought a set of dirt bike bars for her X1. They fit great and she likes her riding position alot more now...
