http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=14001046645 6&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT The above link is to a used Firebolt handle bar. It went for $41 plus $5 shipping plus Paypal fees and a week to ship. I picked the same item up, in stock, new at the HD dealer for $18 just a week ago. Why people think everything on Ebay is cheaper is beyond me. But I though this was pretty funny anyhow. |

I still remember a few years ago when I was trying to buy a digital camera. I did some research and found the cheapest price I could find was $125 using Froogle. I decided then I wouldn't pay one penny more than $123 for the camera (Olympus had several auctions going for the model at the time). I couldn't believe that people were bidding up to $300 for the damned thing! Are these people IDIOTS?? All they had to do was a Froogle search as I did and they could've bought the damned thing for less than half of what they bid. And they PROBABLY think they WON something valuable! I finally did get the camera for $119, but Geez Louise! What are people thinking??? |

Funny, whenever I've tried to sell something on eBay I ended up getting much less then it's worth. |

I found when selling on ebay it is all how you list it. If you talk the crap out of the part people will buy it because you make it 'sound' expensive. Also the more secure I made the transaction sound the more I got. People want to be sold stuff and they want to feel happy and secure about it, that simple sometimes. |
