Does the XBs have a helmet lock anywhere. I test rode an 03 XB9s and a 05 XB12s. I looked around and under the seat for a helmet lock, and asked the salesman as well. We could not find one. Do they exist?

Check the tool kit, there should be a wire with loops on the ends of it that go through the D-rings on the helmet and then goes over one of the pegs that the seat latches on to. So when the seat is latched the wire can't be unhooked. It seems to work good.

Take seat off and remove strap from seat.
Throw strap in garbage.
Hook D-ring from helmet on seat post.
Replace seat.

Looks good Rich. I'm thinking of doing something like that but for now I just use a Master Cable Gun Lock($5.00).

Timo, I have a cheap cable lock in my tankbag. I run it through my jacket sleeve.

I found this at a harley dealer for $19.00.
Put it on the passenger foot peg and good to go.

I posted this on another thread with the part #.

That little doohickey is awesome.

I have a similar question, where do you attach the wire that comes with the bike on a firebolt?

But, I am going to pick up 2 of what buckstar posted.

I drilled off the reflectors and used the brackets as mounting points for the locks. They are on both sides and are keyed the same. I used perm lock-tite on the nut so it wont come off without a fight. You can't ride with the helmet on the locks though.
