Finally, finally, finally, I'm taking my 12Ss to Stone Mountain to have it looked at! After all the good things I've heard about them, I know they'll get it running like it's supposed to be. I'm already anticipating getting it back! I hope they go ahead and replace the cooling fan too, but they'll have to get it good and hot before the fan will act up. The main problem is the skipping/spluttering (which I'm sure many of you have already heard me complain about). I think the TPS is causing it to run lean, because the hotter the weather, the smoother it runs. I rode it back from work the other day when it was 103 degrees outside, and it ran better than ever before. Whatever the case, I'm counting on Stn. Mtn. to get him all fixed up. =) Wish me luck! ~SM |

Congrats Swordsman! She is in good hands. Stone Mountain is as good as they come. Of course everything is relative. The best part about Stone Mountain is they genuinely care for Buell riders and go to extremes to keep customers happy. |

Well, it's dropped off, so we'll see how it goes. I actually saw another BadWebber's bike while I was there. I can't remember the member's name, but I know they post alot, and I see pics of the bike everywhere. It's the XBS that's painted up like a jet fighter, with the bomb decals and the star on the side. Man, that thing looks awesome in person, even better than the pics! I was tickled find it... =) ~SM |
