As promised, better pictures. I love the blue trim with it. It gives it a different look with the bits of blue scattered throughout the bike. I am leaving it like it is! Greg

Nice! I was thinking of doing this as well. How much were the parts? How do you like the select seat vs stock? |

211.00 from Daves. Got them quick to. The select seat is awesome. It is probably not as comfortable as the stock x seat, but that seat was way too tall for me. Greg (Message edited by kybueller on July 27, 2006) |

I have the same problem with the stock seat. (5' 10") I was going to go with the streetfighter but now having second thoughts. Does the lightning badge on the front say 12? Later, Rob (Message edited by staindus on July 27, 2006) |

Rob, Yeah it does say 12, but I am not worried about it. It is so small on there. Of course, I could take the badge off the blue windscreen and put it on, but I think that is way too much trouble, and I might sell the stock plastic. Anyways, it's all good! Greg |

So far I have the blue trim pieces on the top of the forks, the anodized blue bar-ends and valve stem caps, the anodized blue cheese grater, and then the blue instrument panel. I left it all because it gave it a different flavor. If you own a blue city x, you will be able to keep your blue trim. It looks even better in person. I got the skull and crossbones sticker off of e-bay. It went on easy. The mirrors are off a KTM. I removed the handguards as I did not care for them much. The new airboxes are nice with the mesh intake. I guess I did not realize those were like that. I am now just figuring that I have the bike the way I want it. A D&D pipe, race ECM, and now I just plan to ride! Greg (Message edited by kybueller on July 27, 2006) |

KY do you want to unload your hand guards? If so, what's their condition? |

I'll probably add a little more blue here and there. Yeah, it does have superman colors. Never thought of that. Greg |

I got that sticker off e-bay for around 5.00 I will see if I can post a link for it. I really like the sticker and the fact that it did not cost much. Greg |
