Here's something I've never seen discussed here! I was told you can rent a Harley in Aruba. From what I remember of the island, however, I think a Ulysses would be a far better choice based on all of the unpaved, desert roads I remember seeing. Does anyone down there rent out these bikes now that they're available? |

I have heard of cruise ships putting together special packages for bikers. Something like you ride your bike aboard the ship and they take you to your destination (Bahamas, I think) and you can ride around the islands, back aboard the ship and to the next island. Sounds like a good experience I'd like to try sometime. I also know some people in Brazil who run a motorcycle rental company. They came to South Florida and purchased 6 or 7 Buells (2 Ulys, 2 City X, some Lightnings) and shipped them back to Brazil where they rent them to tourist and locals to enjoy. I keep in contact with them via e-mail, never know when I may NEED a rental in Brazil! |

About the only good thing I can think of when it comes to Harley/Buell dealerships is the fact that you can test ride a demo bike (their rentals)... Pretty nice! |

Except every time I've rented a Harley through BUELL'S Fly-n-Ride program, I get a choice of TWO bikes: A Road King, or an Electra Glide. Same price. Well hell, for the same price, gimme the one with the radio! But I'd REALLY much rather have a BUELL! |

Yea BeachBuell I need it too. I am going to Sao Paulo in October and wouldn't mind renting a Buell while I'm there. Thanks, Damnut |

I go to Aruba often, was there last in Oct. 2005. They didn't have any Buells at that time. I think the Uly would be a great idea. If you want to rent a bike, get there early or call ahead. They only have a few, and depending on the day, they sometimes are all rented. I hate to say it, don't let my bike hear this...but quads are the way to see the island. There are numerous places to get them and they are much cheaper to rent. They have plates and can be driven on the street. We always have a blast beating on them. Watch out for the lizards! |
