Oh you said tuck. I was going to suggest seeing a urogenital surgeon, but I digress. |

This is a trick question, right? |

I've been suffering some non bike related lower back pain (stress) and getting out on the bike is rather theraputic. |

Not sure what shape your in but you might want to work on your core trunk and upper back muscles . If you are in good shape and still have pain you may want to visit an orthopedic doctor to see if there is an under lying problem that might be causing the pain. |

Guess I'm alone on this one... And I thought it was just from it being an odd position. |

You might try scooting forward... |

Helibars. Works like a charm, for me anyway. Even when I'm experiencing lower back pain (like right now), I find riding the bike no problem. |

It hurts me just to look at somebody in a full tuck. Back problems since my early 20's, now 41 and I'm fine most of the time. I just don't tuck anymore...can't get behind the flyscreen on my Lightning anyway. The core exercises helped me a lot. I like Core Performance http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1594861684/sr=8-1/qid=1154012945/ref=pd_bbs_1/1 04-2096433-6007120?ie=UTF8 Good luck, Bill |

Put your feet on the rear pegs. If you have a tank bag put something like a towel, jacket in there and rest your chest on this. Work on those "core" muscles. It is a must to have muscle support when riding or you will surely hurt yourself. |

thanks for all the help guys. I think it was just that day, cause I haven't had the pain since...but you have to admit, a full tuck on these things is pretty far from comfortable |

I'm pretty comfortable on mine. I'm 5'8 and #195. I do have a double bubble though so maybe a full tuck isn't quite as low for me as you're talking. I do find that it's more comfortable when I scoot forward though. |

Go visit a chiropractor, one who is intelligent and not trying to take advantage of people. People don't realize what a world of difference routine adjustments can make! I go twice a month, and would recommend you come see me but I'm not out of school yet! |

That's one of the benefits of being short I guess. I don't have far to lean to be in a full tuck on my XB12Scg. Sorry, I can't relate. |

Do you think that getting the pegs that drop down an inch would help? |

yes, get the lightning pegs, made a world of difference for me, along with the aftermarket seat, another couple of inches for the legs to stretch. |
