Yes, this again. I'm sure there are 2000 thread on it. Who has purchased one lately and was the finish nice? from where? and how much. I don't want the carbon fiber version, I plan on painting it. I've had one on back order with American Sportbike and just found out it will be another 2-3 weeks. Al is great over there, but I would like to get it before my trip in a week and a half. Please let me know, the info would be great. Thanks |

Xb12rdude - I'm not sure Rob in the Netherlands can get you one that fast, as I believe he is travelling at the moment. However, the finish is a very nice match to the stock right side scoop. |

Thanks, I sent an email. I like the looks of that. Al's looks nice also, but he is on back order. Must be selling these things like hot cakes. |

We are selling them like wild fire here too at the moment, but if you want one and they aren't in stock (dwindling rapidly!) then we would be able to ship at the end of next week.
Glassfibre (paintable) is GBP106.38 or approx US$189 Carbon is also available but takes a little longer to produce. |

Trojan - just looking at the photo does the scoop you sell fit ok with the Micron System or was altered to fit? |

I was going to buy from Rob, he said something about it being cheaper, but then the price seams just as expensive to me. I'll wait and buy one from my preferred source. |

There are also the "Low Profile Scoops" that Trojan has. They have worked out great for me.
nice fit, come in white primer and only need painting. i may take the screens out for a little more cooling, but for now they stay till it comes apart. |

Trojan - just looking at the photo does the scoop you sell fit ok with the Micron System or was altered to fit? You have to modify to fit the Micron pipe. However I do happen to have this very one ready modified and waiting for a good home. Just needs a repaint. It has been modified using heat proof aluminium and fibreglass to fit around the Micron front header pipe and works really well. GBP80 (US$approx 140) plus shipping (GBP15 ,US$27) and it is yours |

Firebolteric_ma - those are sweet looking scoops. There is a local guy here with a Uly that works at Fletcher's HD with those. The only thing I wonder is how well they actually work at "scooping" air with such a recessed fit. |

Nickname Roberto on the Dutch buell forum made them together with a friend of his. (I saw a link to his emailadres already somewhere on this forum) They made it out of two pieces (malls) since all the other airscoops did not look like the original left scoop at all. it works and looks just fine ! just scrolldown the following link to see the manufactering stages: http://www.buellforum.nl/topic.php?id=1870&page=2

Firebolteric_ma, I'm not sure if we can take your stylistic advice seriously, considering you ride around without an airbox cover and think it's sexy. ~SM |

Just use the email-adres in the second post (FTD) of this page. or this one: r.crins@gmx.net he's the one that makes them. He'll be able to give you more details. It started just for himself and because of the manufacturing costs, for us guys/girls on the Dutch Buell forum, but it seems more people (worldwide) are interested. Mind you he has no bussines nor is he commercially involved, it's just an initiative from a Buell enthousiast. HÉ ROBERTO POST HIER OOK EVEN WAT, KUN JE ZE METEEN IN ÉÉN KEER OP DE HOOGTE STELLEN. Mine was waiting for me when I got home from work. Installed it quickly, no fitment issues. I will report back as to how it works in the hot FL summer. Frank
