Does anyone have this helmet? I'm looking for some opinions on it. Specifically on wind noise and engine noise. And also on long distance riding comfort. Thanks in advance.

I have it . Fairly light. Comfy. Avg for noise and ok for venting. Fogs.

I would not overlook the Scorpion helmets which I also have. You can get 2 for the price of a Shoei and they vent a little better are just as quiet and anti fogging is standard and they DON'T fog!

Just a litte bit heavier but I was never bothered. New designs are really nice and they are under 150.00 for EXO 400 and under 200 for the EXO 700.00

Scorpions ROCK! My Exo700 is perfectly comfy. Their sizes run a bit small (I wear L in everything else, XL in Scorpion), and the standard (non-colored) visors are absolutely impossible to fog. Even on cold, damp days. They're a bit noisier than I'd like above 55mph, but from what I've read, they're better than most. Guess that's just the curse of full-face and vents. Highly, highly recommended. My next helmet will again be Scorpion. They max out around $180.

YUP..comfy, lite, average noise, and that DAMNED FOGGING needs to go.

-------------do aftermarket shields fog the same with these helmets?-----------------

I love my Rf-1000. Comfortable and light. My dark smoke visor rarely fogs.

I love my RF-1K. I do get a little fogging at times, but I've run into that with every helmet I've ever tried. Breathe through your nose and it won't fog.

My HJC ac11 was one of the noisiest lids I've ever worn.
NOT recommended.

There is a product you can buy that ends fogging as you know it. The fog city shield insert works perfectly in all conditions. I have use them for a few years, and never fog at all. I have had water running down the inside of the shield, and never fogged.

That said, you do get a bit of a star pattern from lights at night, but I got used to it after a while. Well worth the anti fogging it provides.

No connection with the company, just a very satisfied customer.

Pick up a Shoei X-Eleven! It's the quietest helmet I've ever owned, real comfortable too! But ya still get that patented Shoei helmet head with those wonderful lines in the padding design on the top of the head, gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!
