My factory tires are shot on my 04 XB12s Who makes a good set of tires for my bike or should I go with the OEM tires? Can I have any Joe Shmoe switch my tires or do I have to go to the HD dealer? One more, can I have the factory wheels polished or are they too thin to do so? What does polishing cost? Any info would help |

Who makes a good set of tires for my bike or should I go with the OEM tires?Pirelli, Metzeler, Michelin, just about ANY tire except the stock Dunlop! Can I have any Joe Shmoe switch my tires or do I have to go to the HD dealer? Any place should be able to do it. One more, can I have the factory wheels polished or are they too thin to do so? What does polishing cost? I can't answer those, sorry. |

Pilot powers are amazing tires, anyone can change them...even you. problem is balancing some shops dont have a long enough adapter so ask. No problem with polishing |

If you are not commuting, and mostly sport riding I highly recommend the Pirelli Diablo Corsa. If you do commute or slab it a lot I'd recommend either the regular diablo, or the diablo strada(touring). |
