I lived there about 15 years ago. Flat, hot, and shi^^y. However, the best people I've ever had the pleasure to live with. Texans are awesome. I believe that you will have to head towards the "hill country", towards College Station and Austin for better roads. There is a Yamaha dealership north of town that used to have some serious enthousists (they were buddies with Colin Edwards), they should be able to give you the scoop. Try the other shops with sport bikes, they will know. |

Run out 290 to Burton, then try 390 north back to Independence, then work your way south to Chappel Hill. rt |
