Went for a ride the other day...was messing around with one of my bandit buddies and all of a sudden started sputtering, buckin...cel came on. I thought Oh **** . Cleared up...rode another mile watching/ listening...did it again, and this time the gauges started doing the start-up sweep...while I was riding! Anyway, limped it back and figured I screwed something up major. Popped the seat, checked everything and came to discover the screw holding my negative terminal and all attached wires was loose as hell. Someone once told me these v-twins vibrate. Tightened it up, along with all other screws and bolts I could see, fired it up, and ripped it down the road. FIXED. Don't you love it when it's something simple. I was freaked out during though Just a story, TK |
