I saw a used race ecu for a XB9r on ebay, is it possible to remap a 9 to a 12? That way I don't eat the transit down time for the reprogram. Also, is the custom map for the Spec Ops 12R map finished? |

Nope. Different redline for sure, probably more things. |

Roger, understand the difference with redline, valve etc. what I'm interested in knowing is if the hardware is the same and the only difference is the software. |

The Direct Link cannot adjust redline, only the values in the fuel lookup tables. |

As far as hardware, they are the same. Al will need to know if it is a stock or race ecm because there is a slight difference in how the Direct Link has to "address" the ecm when it starts the re-flash. Other than that they are identical. That isn't a perfect description, but hopefully you get the idea. BTW there is no redline difference between the two ecms for the 9R. They are both 7500 rpm. |
