Did a search and couldn't find any info on this subject. I am waiting for my Directlink and open airbox kit to arrive, and I am wondering if I'll have problems with the check engine light when I install the open airbox kit (means removing the servo which isn't connected to anything right now anyway due to Micron install). To sum it up, my question is: Will the directlink "fix" my stock ecm to not look for the servo? Thanks all, it's been a long night (morning now) and if this doesn't make any sense I'll understand. i have direct link and i have the servo removed and the light IS on. no way to change it unless you had the race ecm mapped or you get the little do-hicky that over rides the code. | ||

You'll need one of these that 'fools' the stock ECU into thinking that the servo motor is still there   We have them in stock at GBP23.40 (US$ 42 approx). Shipping would be around GBP3 (US$5.50) | ||

Are there any easier ways to bypass it? Something like a do-it-yourself go to Radio Shack and wire it up kit. I noticed a mention of one in another post, I was just wondering if there was a more up to date schematic. Sam | ||

Samian, search opto emulator Go to RS, get parts go home, solder and insulate carefully Wire up, and enjoy I have 5 I have made on the road today, no complaints so far!! Bruce |
