do you switch preload back and forth (daily ?), or leave it set for two up and ride 1 up ? MDM |

It only takes a minute to change but if it's just a short hop I don't bother. Do you know someone that can actually sit on the passenger seat for more than 30 minutes? |

I switch it as needed. I'm mostly solo. I havn't given anyone a ride in probably close to a year now. But Whenever I had passenger I took the time to adjust it then I would adjust it back after. Having my solo settings written down helped a lot when I adjusted back to solo. |

I adjusted suspension to my solo riding . I leave it the same when I ride 2-up (which is usually my 12 yr. old daughter). It's not like I will be riding aggressive with a passenger so why bother with the settings..............? |

i ride all the time with my girl and what was told to me by an ex pro racer was to just up the preload on the back one notch. she weighs about 120. i also have the corbin seat with the low back. she says its not too bad. and the bike still handles great. ive gotten her down to about 3/4" from the edge with my girl on it. SWEEEET!! |

i adjust just the rear preload everytime my wife wants to ride. once or twice a week. it only takes 2 min. (Message edited by americanmadexb on July 04, 2006) |
