I just installed my new Drummer and it ROCKS!!! The bike sounds so good, even my 1-year old daughter clapped her hands when I started it up for the first time. Kevin does wonderful work! The sound is even better than the audio clip on his web site. It's a DEEP THUNDEROUS RUMBLE at idle and an all-out ROAR at full throttle. |

i agree...i got the econodrummer and it is like a totally different bike...i went to a Harley rally and i would rev it up when i came up on people walking and their eyes would almost pop out of their head in disbelief that all that noise was coming from a crotch rocket...Kevin does an awesome job, and is so great to deal with. I recommend a Drummer to anyone who wants their bike to sound like a beast. |

It is definitely louder. If you want to know the exact dB difference, look at the shootout report. However, it's not so much the difference in loudness that matters to me, it is the deep thunderous rumble that I like. The race pipe has a higher pitched grinding sound that is nice, but not nearly so enjoyable as the Drummer. |

Drummer SS and we pulled 92.8 and 72.4 out of my nine on the exhaust shootout dyno. might have been able to tweek it a little more had we any more time, but as it was we ran out of time about two hours or so before being able to be 100% tuned.

I must admit, however, that I am getting some mild popping, more like puffing, on deceleration. I suppose it is running a bit lean now. I'm hoping the Race ECM will fix all that... Actually, I think the popping sounds cool, but I don't want to damage my bike. |

I put myself on the list for a SS Drummer Friday with Kevin. I have the D&D now and really like it but its getting to be a tad loud for my taste now. |

Don't know for sure but probably will. Kevin tells me he's about a month and a half out on he SS's. My D&D has been Jet Hot coated less 2 1/2 months ago also. Its mint..... mint. |

That doesn't matter the pipe is the same for both models. One fits all. |
