Well I love the way my XB9R handles and rides. The only thing is that I'm kinda short at 5'6" and I have to rest on my tiptoes when I stop. It's really difficult to back up the bike while on it. I usually just walk it into position while off the bike. I was curious if anyone has lowered theirs and what side effect it had as far as handling. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

Call Daves for the parts list and your banker for the dough.

I know Penske makes a rear shock that's height adjustable and has about 1,000 other adjustments on it as well, it's like 600 for the street version and 800-900 for the race one. I'm not sure if they make front forks but maybe you can use the "sl"/Low front forks on it? I'm thinking of the same thing eventually for my Ss.

Find somebody with an XBSL and swap suspension...surely that would work, eh?

for the 03 you wouldn't even need to change the lower triple.

Forks, shock and kickstand would do the trick to convert to a low.

Either, last year or the before DaveS had XB9R lowered for someone during one his promotions. If I remember correctly there were few pictures lots of details on line about this bike.

As said before. Call DaveS, then call your bank. I really don't think would be that.
