Vonsliek is right. I have yet to hear of a track day organization that allows wheelies on the track mid-session. The two that I have been ridden with, Team Promotion and NESBA frown upon any riding that might endanger other riders. No trophies, no money, no tropy girls. Have fun, but BE SAFE. I only write this so anyone that has not done a track day yet does not get intimidated by the video. | ||

i wheelie during WOT gear changes down the straight .. esp. 1-2-3 .. ack .. never been told off, but i did notice a couple of instructors & the organizer *giving 'er* down the straight ... but for the rest of us, i can see why & personally i have NO intentions of wheelying the buell for a long time! | ||

btw you'll only get busted for flagrant violations, and ONLY mentioning non-sponsors. They look for patterns. I have, on several occasions mentioned non-sponsor businesses. I also strongly advocate the use of our sponsors though. Blake and the other staffers are not unreasonable, most of the time. | ||

Von- The organizations I've ridden with are fine with power wheelies while acclerating hard, if you aren't pulling up on the bars, etc. If you pull one to the balance point they are going to get in your S___, as they should. You might get rear ended or just crash and take someone out or dump oil on the track, etc. | ||

They're right most track day organizers don't put up with clowning around. Stunting should be pursued elsewhere. The track day is about pursuit of speed. |
