i keep hearing rumors about the race kits being discontinued, but nothing official from either the buell website or my dealer here in portland. can anyone say for sure what the real scoop is? | ||

i have seen some of the threads, however, i can't find anything "official" about the issue. the buell website still carries the race kits, and i stopped by my dealer last week, and his computer still showed that he was able to obtain them. i guess i'm just curious... | ||

Well, I don't think anyone knows anything 'official' cause HD isn't talking, but bottom line is dealers can't get any more screaming eagle pipes for HD's, and the race kits are no longer as well. I read somewhere it was effective 5/31. Dealer says they won't know anything before everyone does (ie HD is keeping them in the dark too). Rumors are just that - rumors. Will they come out with quieter series of pipes? Will they leave it to aftermarket companies to attempt to clean up their image? My dealer says they will know July 1 what the deal is. Different dealers say different things - rumors are everywhere - so my theory is, I don't believe anything until I see it on the dealer's counter. | ||

It is official No more race kits They have been showing as obsolete for at least 2 weeks now. Your dealer should know this I have one left for your bike 557.95 is the Badweb price | ||
