If money was not an issue and I was retired (had free time)... First three are bikes I would really like to have and already own/owned (1)XB12R (stock) (2)Moto Guzzi Nero Corsa
(3)My old 1978 Honda CX500
But it would be fun to have... -XB9R (track ready) or an XBRR -Ducati 998R or 748R -Honda RC51 would be nice too, or the Ducati Desmosedici |

If I were $$$$ or if $$$ money was no object??? Well I'm not one to say if but what I do know is my 12 is paid for and I'll keep. When the time is right and money free's up I'm buying one of these.

I guess I'm pretty boring. I'd like to have some of the exotics like an NR, a Britten, the recent Mike Hailwood Ducati (MH***e?), a few classic race bikes, but in reality I can't picture riding any of those on a regular basis even if I could afford them. What would happen if I wadded one up? It's not like I could go to the dealer and order a replacement. In reality if I were given a pile of money to go buy some bikes I'd actually like to ride and maintain it would include: '96 S2T (with signature, of course) '98 S1W '06 XB12X '06 XB12R (to replace my '04) any year twin-cam FLHR Road King any year VRSCA any year 916/996/998 a slab-sided 900SS '05 S2R '94-'97 VFR750 any year VTR1000R Superhawk '06 GL1800 (sometimes you feel like a nut) '94 Vmax '06 R1LE (Yamahas are supposed to be yellow) any year TW200 (no idea why, they just look like fun) any year YSR50 any year R1150RT '06 300XC-W (gotta play in the dirt too) '03 Mille R And many others I'm forgetting right now. |

I kinda miss my '72 Guzzi V7 Sport. I might go looking for one of those for distance riding some day. Some might call the steering geometry ponderous, especially nowadays, but I found it forgiving in the extreme. It wasn't any kind of horsepower monster even in its day, nor was it particularly torquey, or even light, but man, it had character out the wazoo. |

I'd just take a Ducati Desmosedici RR and call it good. Although it is so expensive I would probably just use it as furniture in my living room. |

Well, I would still have a 12R first of all. If there are any major revisions on the 07 I would probably trade the 04 for in for an 07. Then I would: Always have the latest greatest Litre Duc Monster That new race Duc The Brutali(Sp?) Motard Buell Streetfighter Chopper 450f dirtbike for racing I4 600 Supersport for the track I'm sure I would probably dream up a couple more "needs", but that is the short list. |

I would give Roland Sands a call and try to buy that sportbike/chopper bike that he built. It was on one of the covers of Cycle World. I am not a real big fan of these t.v. chopper bikes but this particular one was sweet!! |
