Thank you Al for the magnificent effort involved in the shootout. I do not think any comparable test was ever done, and this one will set a standard for the future. Thank you to everyone else who supplied mufflers, expertise, and the facilities to make this happen. All Bad Guys owe you a debt of gratitude |

Al, the amount of work that went into the exhaust shoot out appears to have been extraordinary. We are in your debt for this undertaking. Thank you! David |

Al, and everyone involved: Everybody here feels you have made one of the most useful contributions to a motorcycle forum since forums were created. The data is there, results are posted, everyone can now "churn" through the results and make decisions based on "hard" information, not "hearsay" or such. The time, cost and effort we are sure has been immense, and along with everyone else on the forum, we extend our deepest appreciation for all you have done. Thanks again, the Buell riders have one heck of a "freebie" of information here!!! Steve Larson |

Kudoes to Al for the "Master's Thesis" of XB Exhaust (and exhausting) Testing. Thanks to the test team for their generous time and in-kind contributions. This was truly an impressive undertaking and whatever exhaust system you choose to run on your XB, you have to appreciate the passion and dedication demonstrated by Buellies of every persuasion! |

All I can say is wow! That is one of the best write ups on aftermarket exhaust that I've ever read! I was surprised to see how close all of the pipes were to each other. I guess when it comes to the XB it really is personal preference for exhaust. I have the Jardine myself, and I'm really impressed at how competitive it was with all of the other pipes considering the price. |

250 long, hard miles on the Dyno for my bike, but it was worth it! I'd do it again, just need more time in the day! Those were long hours. Not to mention all the time Al put in, way to go Al! |
