MonGoose on the loose !!! Snakes beware!!!! Stay Tuned !!! Testing 1 2 3 4 You asked, so it's on the way !!! Kevin believes the MonGoose will not have to sacrifice to much of the bottom that the Drummer SS already packs. But will produce top numbers that will eat snakes !! Prototype parts have already been made. No flaming necessary, just stay tuned for results. Because base lines have are ready been established Between the Drummer SS and the Micron serpent. Mongoose will be tested against the SS. |

Mongeese (is that plural for Mongoose?) are well known for their ability to battle and munch on poisonous snakes. Ahem, a thinly veiled answer to the Micron Snake system perhaps??? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sfa5GYYM2sw&search=mongoose%20vs%20snake |

Nice Tom McEwen logo Glitch! The mongoose is the Cobra's natural (land based) predator. Remember Ricky Tiki Tavi? (sp?) so the alignment is Don "the Snake" Prudhomme = Micron Serpent and Tom "the Mongoose" McEwen = Drummer Mongoose? Those were drag racing's golden days! With (Budweiser) King Kenny Bernstein, Shirley "Cha Cha" Muldowney, and "Big Daddy" Don Garlits. It was a heck of a show. We stopped into Don Garlits's Drag racing museum in Ocala FL on the way back from Daytona in march. Great memories on display along with some great antique cars and trucks. Lol The MonGoose concept was actually already in progress before the shootout, but still in the testing stages. Kevin’s convinced there is no need to change the stock header if you’re running stock displacement. The Mongoose will have the same appearance as the SS. The biggest change will be in the internal geometry of the rear cap. Which is not as cost effective as the SS to manufacture. Did you know ???? you can achieve more top HP #s by progressively retarding timing. Sure wish Kevin would have had the time and access to DL before the shootout. In my eyes, showing up without a tuned map, was kind of like showing up to a gun fight with a knife. But I think he did very well with that little knife. Please remember I’m very pro Drummer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Did you know most people get scared by knives more than they do by guns? Sometimes all you need is a sharp little knife. |

OOO I can't wait... So if we have the Drummer SS and want the Mongoose, can we send in the pipe and have it updated? Maybe an exchange program. I'd be interested in something like that! Only if it doesn't lose the torque the SS brings to the table. Give us the numbas man! |
