OK, here are the details: -bike stalls when at idle until it warms up, it idles below 1K until warm, after warm up the idle stays steady -popps/backfires/spits/crackles during decelleration -throttle feels jerky to me, especially when taking a corner. It doesnt feel smooth. I have KN air filter w/ the box de-snorkled, Drummer exhuast, and a race ECM. The TPS was reset about a month ago. The dealer claims the reset was done correctly. I thought it might have been an intake leak. I replaced all of the rubber in the intake system. I am thinking about taking it in to a different dealer to have the cables adjusted , re-do the TPS, and check for intake leaks. I just want your professional opinion first so I dont waste my money on any unneccessary maintenance. Thanks, Jason |

You'd only want to adjust the throttle cables if you turn the fork from full lock on one side to full lock on the other and the engine speeds up at one extreme or the other. If the problems appeared after you modded the bike, I'd guess the ECM is running your bike lean (it was designed to run right with the Buell race air cleaner and race muffler). Whenever I get around to power mods, I'm going to have a stock ECM remapped to exactly what I'll be running. |

If its been acting this way since the tps reset then I would say it needs to be redone or checked out. Also did you take it for a good 5th gear highway ride, the ecm needs to learn what the new fuel curve is. Also adjust the idle when its good and hot. |

Sounds like a screwed up reset. Mine ran crappy after a reset as well. |

Yes, I have the 3500rpm/10min thing covered. It sounds like a reset! |
