Sounds like a motard to me. They can be had for pretty cheap. I would love to just go snag a used 450 dirtbike and slap street tires and lights on it so I could go rock the streets like a wild man!

Check out the Suzuki DRZ 400 series bike. They make a Motard version.

I cannot express with words how much FUN you will have riding a motard. I have built two in the last six months and am amazed at the capabilities a SuperMoto has to offer.

I want a motard too however I need it to have a regular width seat and reasonable fuel capacity to make it useable. I like the Husabergs but damned if I can go more than 30-40 mins in the seat before my arse is on fire and range is not enough to get up to the hills - and actually back to petrol station!

SuperMoto's (street legal) are my choice as well. Just needs to have some decent range and 650 cc's or more.

Would love to own the new KTM SM, but that engine costs too much to maintain for my tastes. If we are lucky, perhaps Buell will come out with one someday.

While we are waiting for Buell to make a SuperMoto, I would like to see Honda get into the market with a version of their RC-51 engine.

For some reason, that sounds like a performance package at an affordable price with the potential for being stylish as well.
