I've got a 2003 XB9Shark (pictures forthcoming as bodywork nears completion). Bought the Force exhaust for a good deal on e-bay a while back--in hindsight I'd rather have the new Micron or a Drummer, but I'm workin' w/ it for now, looks cool, sounds downright RUDE . Anywho, Force full system (the old style, no springs, cracked chin mount in less than 100 miles those yahoos; also baffle end piece), K&N filter, XB12 airbox w/ the recessed/inverted cone where i've got a Power Commander II mounted(mislabled III, i'm told), desnorkled, haven't cut up the airbox yet but probably will. Does anyone have a Power Commander fuel map that works well on this (or a very similar) set-up they could post or e-mail? It would be much appreciated as I've tried to e-mail a few fellers that I found in my search in the KV but got no response. One last question. What do you polish these Force pipes with? They're supposed to be ceramic coated steel, right? Well, whatever the hell they are one month exposed to the elements (under cover @ night) and these shiny pipes are gettin' all rusty/oxidized. Misato's are sparklin' in every photo--what's the secret? |

It's baked on dirt. Use soap and elbow grease . |

Thanks for the response folks. Misato, yours is one of the first lightnings I saw that opened my eyes to the possibilites. I dig the kawasaki/slime green--and all the bling. Is it just me or... when I click on that 'ferracci map' link I just get the same page again, no map. Any clues? Thanks, regardless; i'll get this beast tuned eventually. |
