I finally broke down and put the Buell Race Kit on my 04 XB12R. I did it for the sound more than anything. I'm a bit nervous about losing some low end torque, as that is what I love so much about this bike. The bike is in the shop for some repairs and figured I'd get the race kit installed while its there (for minimal labor charge). I just happen to come across two complete race kits, brand new, in the box, for an unbeatable price. What the heck, why not! |

Dude, you don't even use the low end for the most part...your poor speedometer is fairly useless under 90mph! lol Congratulations on the new can...you're gonna love that sound! |

it will now sound like the beast it truly is!. Powerwise the low end loss isnt that bad, and ull find the high end power is fun. |

What low-end power loss? Truthfully, I didn't notice any low-end loss but I did notice the power gain! And the sound is mellow, yet it has stonk! Enjoy! |
