Has anyone seen any kits to upgrade the Firebolt headlight system? It looks good but coming from my previous bike with dual H4 bulbs, it is pretty ineffective with the single H3 low and single H3 high beam bulbs. I'm not talking about hotter bulbs; tried that. How about more traditional dual filament bulbs on each side? |

Might try these Xenon bulbs: http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-m8yDmqUxmkD/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=12&g=71900&I=507H3LXC&o=m&a=0&cc=01&avf=N http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-m8yDmqUxmkD/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=12&g=71900&I=026H3NW&o=m&a=0&cc=01&avf=N I am in no way promoting Crutchfield or responsible if they don't work......... but I'm going to order some! |

I tried some HID lookalikes and while they are better, I still don't think I'm putting out a wide enough beam of light. I'd prefer both lamps were on all the time and the option to go to Hi Beam too when needed. I've heard PIAA Super Plasma bulbs are worth the premium. Maybe I'll try a set. |

I'm very interested in having both lights on all the time as well, but don't want to run the high beam constantly. Please keep us posted w/what you find. -Geof |

Before dropping the $$$$ on PIAA, Try the Philips Vision Plus bulbs. They're a fraction of the $$ and better in about every way. http://www.powerbulbs.com/products/product.php?prodid=pvp&type=H4 I've ordered from them several times and got the bulbs via royal post from the UK in three to four days. |
