Does anyone or has anyone found a good home made mod for the XB12R airbox? I'm sure there is a way to improve the air flow with a few tricks someone has tried already. |

Ummmm yeah. I made my own "open air box out of a 12 inner air box cover. You can trim away about anything except the oval area above the air filter. BDWD......... Biker Dads With Daughters est.2006 defending our sweet little girls from those bad bad boys. You're not one of THEM are you?

I figured a search would produce some results. New feedback on the topic is what I was hoping for. Thanks for the tips. I'm going to take it apart and give it a looksie! |

I don't think there is any new feedback to be added. It's all been done in more different ways than I can remember. Along your search I'm sure you'll find a couple examples that will inspire you. This is the earliest I've ever been late!

Sounds good. I just got the bike two months ago. Trying to find everything I can on it. Just fun on a hot Memorial day. |
