Does anyone or has anyone found a good home made mod for the XB12R airbox?
I'm sure there is a way to improve the air flow with a few tricks someone has tried already.

Ummmm yeah. I made my own "open air box out of a 12 inner air box cover.

You can trim away about anything except the oval area above the air filter.

I don't think there is any new feedback to be added. It's all been done in more different ways than I can remember.
Along your search I'm sure you'll find a couple examples that will inspire you.

Sounds good. I just got the bike two months ago. Trying to find everything I can on it. Just fun on a hot Memorial day.
