My engine light will come and cutout at normal to high speeds.I have the Buell race kit on it.I was told that my race ecm is the problem so I put the stock ecm back in.The same problem is occuring.Every time I take it to the shop no codes show up.I even installed a efi box and still did not fix it. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

1. Check your connections at the battery
2. TPS reset?
3. Do you have a VDSTS or know someone else that does?
4. I would check for codes myself. Using the pin 1&2 jump on the data link connector.

Does it happen all the time/every time you ride it? Is the bike under warranty? If the race kit is covered under warranty make them ride it and fix it : )

doesn't the ecm keep a log of recent trouble codes?

It should keep historic as well as current codes. It appears that this problem is not throwing any codes. That is why I recommended checking to see if any codes exist. It could be as simple as a poor connection or wiring harness short, ie. a short on the ET would make the bike run terrible until it was hot. An open circuit or poor connection would "trick" the ECM into thinking the engine was always cold. The same thing could happen with the O2 sensor. Both of those wires are in hostile areas subject to heat and vibration.
