190 pirelli diablo on one of my xb's. works fine for me. no issues. although you might get some responses saying it will throw the handling off it works good for me and i pound mine daily.

dunlop makes a new D208GP Sportmax 190/60 with a tall round profile which is supposed to be sticky as glue on the edges but last 10K miles in the middle part of the tire.

i might grab a pair in medium soon.

Don't listen to who ever told you you'd get 10,000 miles out of a sport tire. You'll be sadly disappointed when you get less than 4000 miles, even if you baby it.
If it's mileage you need, but still want grip, Pirelli Diablo Strata is the way to go, or the Pirelli Scorpion Sycs are good high mileage sporty tires.

My stockers didn't last even close to 3K.
No stunts or burn outs, just mountain fun.
You must be a conservative rider, I know I'm an aggressive rider.
I guess I should have said something about that above.
With the tires I mentioned about you could probably get 10K pretty easy.

The Pirelli profile is very friendly to our bikes' design. That's all.

no complaints on diablos .. just aesthetics making me hunger for 190 & those dunlop 208gp's look good on paper ..

diablos do great burnouts & killer traction for wheelies on cold ground even.

i ride very aggressively on rough terrain on twisty indian rez b-road.
