There's no easy answer to that question. Some manufacturers make different profile 190's. You would best be speaking to the tech departments of the manufacturers you've short listed possibly, then making a choice. Rocket | ||

The Pirelli Scorpion Sync on the rear of my Uly seems "rounder" than the stock Dunlop D616 I took off. I actually made sure it was indeed a 180 after the dealer put it on. I thought for sure they had put on a 170. I don't know if they make a 190, but if they do and if I stick with the Pirelli's, I think I will try a 190 next time. | ||

An article I read on the new Metzeler M3 said they worked really hard on shaping the profile of the 190 so it would still handle like a 180, so you might want to try one of those. On the other hand, 190 is intended for a wider wheel so any 190 you mount on your stock XB rim will be "pinched" slightly. | ||

Ditto what Spike said. Keep in mind though that due to the fact that we run belted tires... The pinching doesn't make them sharper. It makes the flatter. You need a 6" rim AND a 190 if you want to go that route. That said... Slaughter races and runs a 190. I don't know if he has a 6" rim or not. | ||

A 190 fits on 5.5" wheel a lot better than a 180 fits on a 5" wheel. |
