I just recently made a trip over to see Dave at Appleton HD. After much frustration I took Dave's advice and had them do the Direct Link tuning on my bike, as well as install the Micron. I would like to let everyone know ( I am sure some already knew) that this is a top notch dealership. These guys are the prime example of what you should be treated like in an establishment that is there to cater to the needs of you particular hobby. Their selection of bike is unlike ANYTHING I have seen at other dealers. They worked their a$$es off to get my bike right, they even stayed until 8:30 on a Friday night ( they close at 7). This blew me away. I was waiting for them to get done while chatting with Dave and Terry ( the owner, yes the owner was still there at 8:30), it is obvious that these guys love what they do for a living. This dealership is 7 1/2 hours from me and it WILL be the place where I buy my next Buell. By the way Dave if your reading this, I can't stop thinking about that damn Uly. I knew I shouldn't have taken that ride. |

How long until you post your dyno run over here http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/3842/3615.html?1146345754 ? I'm looking forward to seeing what you pulled down with your 1250! (wonder why) |

Brian, They did a great job with the tuning on the bike. "Big Ern" and the boys were working it for all it was worth. I was hoping to see some bigger numbers but it ended up being just over 100 HP and 84 FT-LBS, if I remember right. That is with the open airbox kit, K&N, and a Micron Serpent. I also had them use the 9 ECM because it was making power past 7000 RPM. Overall I am happy, but would have loved to see some better numbers. Now it's time for the bodywork. |

Cool, sounds very much like what I'm putting down. max HP 99.79, max torque 86.86 http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/3842/148752.html?1137447326 That was with the 9 air box. with a race 9ecm and Jardine. I wonder what the Micron would really gain me. I guess we'll see some comparison numbers in a week or so when the shoot- out is concluded. |

Brian, Is your motor a 1250 from Hal's? That sounds like it is doing pretty well already. The Micron certainly looks the part and the sound is AWESOME at full tilt. My motor is still fairly new and I hope maybe it will loosen up a few more ponies. |

Yes, it is from Hal's. Did my profile give it away? |
