Wow! Do I love this new muffler! Awesome craftmanship, great sound and I noticed a low end torque increase on the first ride. My neighbor owns and XB12R and he ran out of the house in his pajama's when I fired the bike up. Hes sold....has to have one and is just waitng for the "ok" from his wife.

I finished putting the skateboard wheel axle sliders on the bike a couple of weeks ago. Used a hard compound that would slide rather than grip. |

Nice, I should be getting mine this week. Did you put a race ecm on, or just the pipe for now. I have the open air kit and a race ecm that I'm going to put on with the Drummer pipe. Kevin told me that it's ok to just run it with the pipe for now and it should be fine. It will run better with a race ecm and filter. I can't wait. |

I ran my 9R for about 5 months on the Stock ECM and it seemed to be okay. I pulled the plugs right before switching to the Race ECM and the plugs looked a little light to me like it has been running a little lean. But they WERE a bit tan so it wasn't too bad...fan didn't come on more than normal and the pipes didn't change color from before so far as I could tell. I would recommend getting the Race ECM or at least something to provide more fuel. WIth the Drummer there will be more air going through the motor and therfore more fuel is recommended...plus Kevin told me it was designed with the Race ECM characteristics in mind. |

This is the new Drummer original. It has a bit of the Drummer SS built into the billet end cap of the pipe and makes it slightly different than the first product line. Kevin from KD Fabrications has just recently changed it to this style. Its goooood. |

Ya know what... Im not sure about the fibergalss packing. I need to ask Kevin about that because the bike is quite loud but not obnoxious. My neighbors dont complain yet.... As for the swing arm sliders, they are skateboard wheels and I must give credit to other BWB members for the idea. They look cool and should be functional but I hope never to put them to the test. |
