You were on the right track. Warm 'em up and pop 'em off. |

Pull on em and if there is some 3m tape still there use some goo gone. Worked great for me. Am sure if I had a heat gun that would work, but looked around the house and found goo gone and the reflectors were gone... |

thanks guys, took heat gun to it and they came off easy with absolutly no mess. i also took the rear reflectors of and dremeled them down(since the stock signals seem to fit better with them one)... soo.. untill i get brave and chop the "Cheese grater" off, it will do. i wanna get a K&N and Lane splitters before i work on the fender... i cant see crap out of the mirrors. Well, i learned a new trick today, i thought i saw a cop behind me on the highway. I couldnt see because i was doing 65mph and the mirrors suck.. so i pulled the clutch in for a sec. and it worked, they didn't vibrate as bad(kida like idle) and i could see that it was just a car looked like a cop car. |

Will a hair dryer loosen up the tape enough to tear them off ya think? I think mine are coming off tomorrow. |

Hair dryer works fine. WD40 will take off any remaining adhesive if you don't have Goo Gone handy. Save the reflectors. You never know if you'll need 'em (or get nailed at a safety inspection). |

Just twist them. Tape is not designed to take much side load. Mine came right off. "IF" any residue is left just use a little goof off. |

i did keep my reflectors. the back ones will never go on again since i cut them down. heat gun worked best and didnt leave any residue. i also used the heat gun for all the "saftey instruction" stickers, they also came off with no residue. |
