Well it sounds like alot of people are coming from south of Bear Mountain, what would be a convenient meeting place? I ride in that area alot. I live about 20 miles from it, so anywhere is good for me. | ||

Bob, I am hoping to be able to make it. I have it on my Calendar, but have to see how stuff works out. If I can make it, I will meet you at your place. Are you sure you want to take the thruway down? That is a lot of slab. We can take the Taconic or Rt 9 down, much nicer and comes in the top side of Bear Mtn (If we go through Poughkeepsie and meet Exitlandrew). Which are much nicer roads in my opinion. -Patrick | ||

Yeags, either one would be fine, If we meet at exit 18 its a straight shot down route 9 to bear mountain. Or we could take 9-D. Either one is fine with me, they may actually be doin some construction on 9-D though, Ill check it out today. If your coming from Albany you might wanna listen to Doon. The thruway sucks. I can meet you in Poughkeepsie, then we can hook up with everyone coming from the southern areas in Fishkill. | ||

I just got back from Bear Mountain, Took Perkins memorial drive to the top. About 50 miles round trip from Fishkill. If thats not enough, seven lakes is only a couple miles away from there. Or maybe 208. But if we have a good amount of people going we should probably decide where were going to meet up and what time. | ||

We are heading out of the city 10:30 ish, and will try and get lost on some backroads along the way. Maybe try to find 218 again after a stop at the top of Bear Mtn., maybe noon or a bit later. We were up 2 weeks ago, had a great day of riding. You guys are welcome to give me a ring, 917 685 0942, I will check my phone during stops, be great to see youse guys. will do. looks like we might have mort with us too. maybe a spin over to sugar loaf where we can force tramp to put his belt on and actually go for a ride. we need to run out towards monticello one of these dys. each time i work there i'm amazed at the number of curvy mountain roads. or, 28 around the ashokan res.? | ||
