baseline figures were 89.7hp and 68.4tq bone stock.with drummer ss,race ecm and open airbox w/ k&n she made 103.2hp and82.4lb/ft of torque.needless to say i was quite impressed.my butt dyno also pegged the fun meter.kevin knows what works.cant wait to see how the hp shootout turns out. |

what atmospheric conditions (temp, and humidity)and elevation? could you post a dyno plot on the KV thread here? http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/3842/3615.html?1145748983 Don't take this the wrong way, but the base line looks right. The modified looks....generous compared to what we've seen before. Having said that Dyno's vary wildly in the peak numbers they show. what does the air:fuel look like, and what do the hp and torque curves look like? That tells the tale. |

temp was 62 degrees, humidity was 36%.a/f was right at 14 to 1.elevation here is 800 ft.all i have is the printout and no scanner but i'll see what i can do tomorrow.the curves follow the stock ones pretty close just about 10 hp up everywhere.generous to say the least, noone was more suprised than me.made 12 pulls,5 back to back and numbers were within 1.2 hp.used a dynojet 250.even if this is a happy dyno the bike feels way stronger everywhere so im stoked regardless. |

Cool, sounds good! great conditions for dyno runs. cool, dense air at low elevation! I'm an information junky so I love to be able to see the plots. It's a sickness. |

Here are 7 consecutive dyno runs made at Tilley's Buell/HD a month or two ago on an XB12 with the same configuration. Drummer SS, K&N & open airbox. The results are quite similar. It's no fluke. The man knows what he's doing. Just wait 'till we flatten out that A/F ratio a bit. On the road A/F vs RPM vs TPS vs Speed testing will begin soon on the new Drummer CF. Kevin's installing a sensor bung in our test Drummer CF for my wideband O2 sensor.

I have an older drummer with no tuning at all (race ECM, K&N, Chopped airbox, de-snorkeled) and yesterday I was headed home from work... I live at 5K' elevation so power is down a good deal anyway. I was putting along at about 1100 (literaly putting along... no throttle). I saw a really great skirt and she looked over her shoulder at me (or at the sound anyway... Luckily I had my helmet on ) so I blipped the throttle. No clutch what so ever and literally off idle the front was off the ground for about 3" or so. Enough visceral grunt to just yank the front off the ground a little just as I hit it. Kevin Drum is brilliant when it comes to pulling power out of a harley engine. |

Ear, Those stock figures were obtained at the crank, not rear wheel. |

Engine Engine Engine . Big difference between engine HP and brake HP. One of them has to go through the trans and make it to the ground, the other doesn't . |

That's damn impressive. What, about $600 gets 15 more HP? Very cool. |
