I removed and replaced the front wheel on my XB9S to have a tire replaced. Question? Is it normal to need to cycle the front brake lever a few times to re-seat the brake pads to the rotor. The first couple pulls on the front brake lever were very soft. After 3 pulls the brake lever everything seem normal. I suspect the pads were separated some when the wheel assembly with rotor were removed from the caliper and the first couple of break lever pulls were re-seating the pads to the rotor. Does this seem correct or is something else. Thanks Wayne |

Thanks for the support. Just finished short test ride and to fuel up. New tire seems smooth. Next comes primary chain adjustment and fluid change. Thanks again Wayne (Message edited by Slickster on April 24, 2006) |
