Just wondering if anyone had some pics of their XB's with LED accent lighting. I just put some amber leds on mine. Well, I have had them a little while, and they get good reactions. I want to find more places to put them, so I wanna see some pics. Thanks Guys. |

Here are some pics of mine. I really like the lighting, because in person, it is really subtle. It isnt eye catching, but when you look at the bike, it looks good. It was really hard to get any somewhat decent pics, so they dont look like they do in person, but they give the idea. Im not too sure about the ones under the tail, I only put them there because I had extra, I might get rid of them and do only the underseat and the engine. Opinions? Where I mounted them: exhaust side:
Through rubber gromets that rear turn signal wires go through.
Underseat, gives a very cool glow and shows matchin yellow spring
Clutch side
Best pics I could get, Back:

I have been itching to do the same to mine. What exactly did you need to do these? I know resistors of some kind were needed and how are they wired? Can you shoot me some detailed pics and basic instructions as to how you did it so I dont have to go talk to the rejects at RadioShack. |

I went to radioshack, they are idiots here too. Basically, most resistors will work, but I just ordered mine offline from SUPERBrightLEDS.com. They are individual LEDs with the resitor built in and there 3 feet of wire. It is set up for a 12V syetems, so you just wire them in. I got a thinker fused power wire and ground wire and just spliced them all off of those, with a switch under the seat. |

MadSX, how did you do that. Did you just put an LED, or an LED wedge bulb. How did you wire it up, because I see it is on by itself, with no other lights. Looks cool |

Its just a LED wedge bulb, 194. Its a direct replacement of the regular bulb. Id like to run it into the air box or up behind the windscreen. The dash does light up and the gages sweep when you turn the key to that position. You can also take the key out with the lights on. |

194 parking lights. The LED on the left has 5 lights in it. Regular bulb on the right.

I really like that Madsx did with the parking/headlights on his S. Is that possible on an R? Or do those bulb assemblies get hot enough to melt anything I'd try to put in there? |
