I think I may have found an XB in the Gosport area that is priced so low that it smells like a scam - BUT I emailed the guy to ask if I can have "a friend" stop in to look at the bike. Even if the motor is fried, it's still a decent price and I can have it crated/shipped back here to use as a race backup bike. If it IS a scam, the guy will come up with excuses and I'll know. If anybody would be willing to go and get eyeball contact with it just to see if it's a "real" bike with a VIN, I can run the VIN to check to see if it's hot. The only thing I care about is that it doesn't look crashed/bent and that it's not stolen. Never hurts to ask. |
