have a question to those of you that have painted the xb wheels. how did you guys paint them? powder coat, spray or enamel, I would like to paint the spokes black and leave the out side lip amber. thanks ty |

Paint is much easier. With powder coat you have to remove the bearings, and replace with new ones. Plus since you're leaving the amber the oven would probably kill the amber anyway. |

same question as above,...... I'm half mexican so I was just going to spray paint them, ha ha but I dont thing they will hold up against chips and such ty |

I painted my wheels. I had them done at a friend's body shop (Silverbullet on the BadWeb). He used an acrylic paint with a special hard clear coat to resist chips. So far so good ~9k miles since they were done. He just taped them off and sprayed. Ditto what Glitch said about the bearings and cost.
